Turbulent Displace


Distorts the layer along selected coordinate axes using a random pattern of smooth fractal noise. Distortion may be along one or more axis in either cartesian or polar coordinate space. Useful for simulating distortions caused by real-world phenomena such as fire, water, and heat, or for modeling real-world objects that are naturally irregular such as mountains.
